FLASh is pleased to announce that, after having been found only hours from death, Conrad is now healthy, happy, and ready for adoption! After having successfully overcome many conditions related to extreme neglect, Conrad is the picture a happy, loving Beagle boy.

Conrad is the perfect family member. He sleeps quietly in a crate next to his foster mom’s bed at night, and has free run of the house the rest of the time, including the times when he and his two canine roommates are left at home alone. He is completely housebroken. Conrad loves human attention and will sit at his foster mom’s side for as long as she is willing to pet him, but will go to his bed and go to sleep when the petting is over. He ignores the multiple cats in his foster home, and gets along well with his canine foster sisters. Conrad is a sweet and gentle boy who is ready to begin the rest of his healthy life in a loving forever home.

The only reminders of the critical illnesses that he survived are deafness in one ear and a need for eye drops. These are a result of facial nerve damage that a severe ear infection caused. He has gone from being too ill to even stand up to being so healthy that he thoroughly enjoys his frequent walks during the day including a brisk 1/2 mile walk every evening. He is first in line at the door when the leashes come out and absolutely adores finding cool scents, true to his Beagle genes.

It is estimated that Conrad is about 8 years old. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, heartworm free and on preventative, and microchipped.
