William is one of the sweetest dogs we've ever met. He got a raw deal in his life, and deserves a good, loving home (as they all do.) William loves everyone. He gets along very well with other dogs and loves to play with other dogs. He is good on a leash and is VERY smart. He loves to play and cuddle, and he LOVES bellyrubs. And he is housetrained.

Sadly, William (formally named Foster) was left at a local shelter, where is remained for several months. William is about 8 years old and has heartworms, which we are treating. The heartworms are likely why he kept getting passed over for adoption at the shelter. We couldn't stand it anymore, and we got him out of the shelter. But he needs a foster or foster-to-adopt home (he's currently staying at a local doggy boarding place.) He is healthy in every way, other than the heartworms.

We are currently treating his heartworms. FLASh covers ALL expenses for our fosters. Treatment means a monthly chewable, and oral medication (pill) every few months. Nothing complicated.
