Meet Felix the Cat, the wonderful, wonderful cat!  He's a jokester and a cuddler.  He'll make you laugh so much your sides will ache and your heart go pit-a-pat.  Felix is a sweet and playful kitty. He loves playing with his favorite cat toy, licking fingers (that's a kiss, in kitty-speak), getting brushed and just living that good cat life.

Felix story begins on the streets. He was hanging around trying to find a home somewhere until he showed up at the right house. After noticing he had gotten injured from a fight, our volunteer took him in and fixed him up. Now he's ready to go to a new home!

Felix has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, and is microchipped. He has tested positive for FIV, feline immunodeficiency virus, but this just means that he has a weaker immune system and is more prone to getting infections, such as upper respiratory infections and dental disease. However, living indoors in a safe, loving home will minimize those risks and Felix can live a long healthy normal life among other pets. FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can live together as long as they get along and do not fight.

Felix gets along with other cats.  Like all cats, he and any new feline siblings need to be introduced properly to minimize stress between new kitty brothers or sisters.

Felix is about 3 years old.  He has perfect house manners (uses a litter box.)  Aside from FIV, Felix is a perfectly healthy and happy cat and ready to spread his love and fun to his own family.
