Looking for a true companion? Unconditional love? You've found it here, with Lefty. Just under a year old, Lefty is a young, strong, fun-loving dog. His favorite things include affection (giving and receiving), sniffing and exploring, and a good belly rub.
He is completely housebroken and is very smart. He is learning new things everyday (especially if there is a treat involved.)
Lefty gets along well with other dogs. He just loves EVERYONE! Kids, especially.
Lefty was abandoned at a gas station, left to fend for himself. A very kind gentleman saw him and could not leave this sweet dog there, all alone. He took him in and is fostering him. Together, we are working to find Lefty his forever home.
Lefty is neutered and fully vaccinated. Sadly, whomever had him before did not care enough to give him heartworm preventative, so Lefty is presently taking medication to kill those heartworms over time. It will be several months before he will be free of them. So his adoption can not be finalized until his treatment is complete (all expenses will be covered throughout.) But! He can still go live with his intending-to-adopt person or family now!
